Traveling to the tiny table from Arkansas, the BeatiDudes welcome Dr. David Wright, Headmaster of Subiaco Academy.
Subiaco Academy is a Catholic College Preparatory School in the Benedictine tradition that welcomes young men of all faiths in grades 7-12. Sitting on 1,200 acres of land where you can fish, hunt, hike, and camp on the property, Subiaco was just named the fourth most beautiful boarding school in the world by Architectural Digest.
Dr. David Wright has had a long career in higher education, but it wasn’t until he wrote his dissertation on student leadership development that he changed his path and now finds himself completing his sixth year as Headmaster. Dr. Wright and his staff have evolved education to focus on whole person development as supported by the Benedictine Monks at Subiaco Abbey. At Subiaco, the students engage in a parallel curriculum that includes time for social and emotional learning, integrity-based leadership, entrepreneurship, and more.
From woodworking to chanting to Trojan football, you don’t want to miss what Dr. Wright has to say about his school where it’s cool to be smart.
