Edmund Mitchell joins The BeatiDudes for the bonus episode.  Edmund’s career includes a unique blend of creative work, a wide array of ministry experience, and a passion for the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Edmund is the co-founder of Real + True, an extensive platform that explains the Catechism using a creative approach to each of the document’s four-part framework – the Creed, sacraments, morality, and prayer. The work of Real + True makes the teachings of the church accessible and enjoyable.  

The show starts by reviewing the imprimatur (aka the Oprah Mater) that was granted to Real + True by the Dicastery for Evangelization. Edmund reflects on the pressure he feels as he undergoes the creative process for each new segment.

Jeff tells more stories of times he made “big timing” statements to the people in his life, and this time he tells the story of asking his wife on their first date.    

During “Blessed are the Joke Makers,” the Dudes answer the question, “I will be canonized for ______” as a self-righteous vegan.

Edmund leaves us with nuggets of personal wisdom about books he likes and another that he finds to be overrated.
